Today some of the most important reasons for health concern are: toxins, insufficient food quality and emotional stress. Cars, fire stoves, coal power plants and the industry emit tons of toxic substances into the air. Pesticides are distributed over fields and get in direct contact with our food. Genetically modified plants may cause unpredictable reactions in our body. Hormones in animals, antibiotics in water, plastic in the ocean and not to forget the ever increasing pollution by higher frequency radiation. All these factors may cause health effects, especially so called autoimmune diseases which are typically hard to trace back to a single origin. For many years I suffered from inflammations in my back and the doctors could not help me. They finally recommended to cut the affected muscles and tendons out of my body. This is where I started to search for alternative solutions. Today I am convinced that these health effects are primarily connected to food and stress. The symptoms started after a heavy learning period for my University degree and then became more and more pronounced. I changed my diet to eat more low acid food, more fresh vegetables, more vitamins, less meat, less beer and wine. Combined with a weekly 2 hour exercise in the gym, this allowed me to control the situation. I have learned a lot from the engaged talks of Tom O’Bryan which I can highly recommend.
